Thomas Cecil "Judge" Vaughan

Thomas Cecil “Judge” Vaughan, age 73, of 82 Crouch Drive, passed away Thursday, November 24, 2016 at White Oak Manor in Newberry, SC.
He was born in Newberry and was a son of the late Dick Moorhead Vaughan and the late Sease Dominick Vaughan Senn.
Mr. Vaughan was an Independent Insurance Adjuster and a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton. He was a Golf Pro at Persimmon Hill Golf Club for several years and was a former resident of Orlando, FL and Myrtle Beach, SC. He enjoyed deep sea fishing and hunting. Mr. Vaughan was a member of the 1961 Clinton High School Championship Baseball Team.
He is survived by his daughter, Andrea Vaughan of Kinards; his sisters, Irene Littleton (Kinard) and Joan Young (Robbie), all of Kinards; and his loving companion, Nero, a miniature schnauzer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Vaughan was predeceased by his wife, Jimmie Furr Vaughan; a brother, Dick Vaughan, Jr.; and nephews, Dick Vaughan, III, and Cliff Adair.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 1st, at 4 PM at the First Baptist Church of Clinton. The family will receive friends before the service from 3 to 4 PM.
