Thomas E. Moore age 84 of 167 Cypress Street died Thursday, August 13th at the NHC of Laurens.
He was born in Laurens and was a son of the late T.E. and Sally Williams Moore.
Mr. Moore was retired for Clinton Mills, Lydia Plant after 31 years and was a member of Lydia Baptist Church. He also was an U.S. Army Veteran of WWII.
He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Beulah Dickson Moore; three children, Phillip Moore and wife, Joyce of Greenville, Kenneth Moore and wife, Cathy of Grenada, and Deborah Woods and husband, Jeff of Gray Court; six grandchildren, Cory Moore of the home, Matt Moore and wife, Leah of Spartanburg, Adam Moore of Tigerville, Thomas Massey,Tiffany Massey of Greenville, and Christopher Woods of Simpsonville; three sisters, Nancy Hughes of Gray Court, Claudine Alexander of Simpsonville, and Wilhemina McDowell of Laurens; and a brother, Robert Moore of Hickory Tavern.
Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday, August 16th at 2:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Lydia Baptist Church, 98 Palmetto Street, Clinton, SC 29325.
