Thomas “Tommy” Franklin Roberts 53, of 118 Lynn Ave, Laurens, SC passed away Monday, September 10, 2012 at his home.
He was born in Laurens, SC and was a son of Betty Seay Roberts and the late Charles W. Roberts.
In addition to his mother Mr. Roberts is survived by his son, Joshua Roberts of Laurens; one brother, Charles M. Roberts of Carlisle, IN; one sister, Janice Franklin and husband, Larry of Clinton; two nephews, Charles M. Roberts Jr. of Laurens and Kevin B. Franklin and wife, Elizabeth of Laurens; two nieces, Ashley Tarrant of Laurens and Stacie Franklin McWatters and husband, Dale of Clinton; and two special aunts, Lou Ann Turner of Laurens and Ruth R. Cobb of Flat Rock, NC.
Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, Sept.12th at Forest Lawn Cemetery at 3 P.M., the family will greet friends following the graveside service.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Eastside Baptist Church, 353 Conway Ave., Laurens, SC 29360.
The family will be at the residence, 118 Lynn Ave., Laurens, SC.
