Tibby Frier

Tibby Frier, age 79, formerly of Sims St. and widow of Junior Frier died Monday, July 3, 2006 in the Wallace Thomson Hospital in Union.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of the late Lawrence Benjamin and Ruth Prather Summers.
Mrs. Frier was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of the St. Timothy Lutheran Church.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Debbie Frier and Kenneth Bruce of Newberry and Paula Frier and Paul Fletcher of Whitmire; a brother, Billy Summers of Clinton; two sisters, Polly Golightly and Eppie Hallman both of Laurens; four grandchildren, Rhonda Wessinger, Jarrett Bruce, Heather McElhannon and Lindsey Fletcher; also six great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 4:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Whitmire with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
