Mr. Timothy Alexander McAlister, 36, of Clinton, passed away unexpectedly on March 28, 2019 in Montgomery, Texas. He was a proud Veteran with the Army National Guard who served in 2 wars, Iraqi Freedom in Iraqi and Enduring Freedom in Afghanistan. He was awarded the Army Commendation Medal, Army Achievement Medal. Combat Action Badge, National Defense Service Medal, Global war on Terrorism Medal and many more.
Tom was a skilled mechanic. He loved to draw, bowl, golf and ride motorcycles. He could fix and thing and clean like was nobody’s business. Tim was a Christian and has now found his eternal home. He was a father, son, brother, and uncle.
The family will receive friends at the Lancaster Funeral Home on Thursday, April 18, 2019 from 6-7 pm followed by a service to celebrate his life beginning at 7 pm with the Rev. Roger Anders officiating. Burial with Military Honors will be held Friday, April 19, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Fort Jackson National Cemetery in Columbia.
Mr. McAlister is survived by his mother, Kathy McAlister, two daughters, Samantha and Stella; and two sisters, Dana Crowe and Melony Honeycutt.
