Timothy “Wednesday” Lee Morris Sr., 62, of 1233 Fairview Church Road passed away Sunday, August 5, 2018 at his home.
He was born in Joanna and is the son of the late Thomas Edgar and Mildred Marie Farmer Morris.
Mr. Morris is survived by his wife Donna Morris of the home; his son, T.J. Morris of Charleston; his daughter, Elizabeth Louise Morris Cockrell (Allen) of Prosperity; two sisters, Anna Marie Lyda (Gary) and Lynn Morris Starnes; two grandchildren, Abagail and Jacob Cockrell. He is also survived by four aunts Patsy Malone of Alaska, Ruby Crapps of Joanna, Francis Traver of Laurens, and Edna Crowley of Camden and many nieces and nephews.
Tim was a Clinton High School class of 1974 graduate where he played baseball and basketball. He worked at Greenwood Mills for 30 plus years as a Maintenance / Supervisor. He was an avid outdoorsman. He spent many days hunting, fishing, searching for Native American artifacts, and playing golf with his family and friends. He never met a stranger. He loved his pets, to him they were the same as family. He loved his family and was a proud father, and also a proud Papa to Abagail and Jacob.
A memorial service will be conducted Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at Fairview Baptist Church at 3:00 PM. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
