Tommy E. Medlin, age 66 of 40 Flash Drive died Sunday, April 1, 2012 in the Self Regional Medical Center.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late James
and Maud Loyd Medlin.
Mr. Medlin was retired from Local #391 Pipefitters Union and was an avid crappie fisherman.
Surviving are his wife, Linda Black Medlin of the home, one son,
Tony Medlin of Laurens, two daughters, Jean Thompson of Laurens and Teresa Thompson of the home, two brothers, Bradley Medlin of Clinton and Lawrence Medlin of Laurens, and a sister, Cora King of Clinton; four grandchildren, Hunter Medlin, Johnathan Thompson, Travis Thompson and Brandon Thompson and two great grandchildren, Landon Thompson and Danica Thompson.
He was predeceased by a brother, James Medlin and five sisters,
Brenda Martin, Evelyn Banks, Marjorie Strickland, Ruby Brown and Juanita Bigham.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, April 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
