Troy M. Edwards age 76,of 24785 Hwy. 76 East, died Tuesday, April 19, 2011 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Verdie and Minnie Black Edwards.
He was retired from Torrington Bearing Company; attended the Church of God of Prophecy in Clinton and was a U. S. Army Veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Annie Louise Landers Edwards of the home, seven sons, Ray Edwards of Woodruff, Darrell Edwards of Clinton, Marty Edwards of Orangeburg, Daniel Edwards of Laurens, Troy Anthony Edwards, Tony Edwards and Joseph Edwards all of Clinton; three brothers, Oscar Edwards and Carl Edwards, both of Clinton and Harry Edwards of Enoree, one sister, Lillie Belle Murphy of Woodruff; twenty- seven grandchildren and twenty- eight great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in Gray Funeral Home Chapel in Clinton by Rev. Danny Driver and Rev. Virgil Bagwell with burial in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Laurens.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home.
