T. Wilson Barnes

T. Wilson Barnes, age 68, of 136 Edgewood Circle died Wednesday, December 14, 2005 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Clinton and was the son of the late Perry and Mattie McCoig Barnes.
Mr. Barnes was retired from the Laurens County Tax Assessors Office, was a life time member of Bellview Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon, Sunday School Teacher and former Choir Director. He also was a member of the Campbell Lodge # 44 A.F.M. and was a member of the S.C. Appraisal Association.
He is survived by his wife, Carroll Mills Barnes of the home; one son, Tony E. Lawton of Clinton; one daughter, Donna McAlhaney of Clinton; one sister, Kathy Moss and her husband, Jeff of Spartanburg; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 2:00 p.m. at the Bellview Baptist Church with interment in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. at the church.
