Vallie Campbell Stewart

Vallie Campbell Stewart, widow of Marvin Cunningham Stewart formerly of 203 Spruce Street, Clinton, died Friday, August 25, 2006 at the National Health Care of Clinton.
Born in Clinton and she was the daughter of the late Aaron Furman and Minnie Lee Thornton Campbell.
Mrs. Stewart was a charter member of the original Bailey Memorial Southern Methodist Church, now Springdale United Methodist Church, and was its oldest member. She was also a member of the UMW and was retired from C.W. Anderson Hosiery of Clinton.
She is survived by three sons and daughters-in-law: Marvin Campbell Stewart and his wife, Margie of Asheville, NC, Donald Wayne Stewart and his wife, Myra of Cross Hill and James Thornton Stewart and his wife, Joanne of Clinton; Grandchildren, Valerie Jones, Bill Stewart, John Stewart, Matt Stewart, Todd Stewart, Andrea Webb, Leslie King, Mary Bette Stewart, and Anna Kate Crisp; and seventeen great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister, Medora Whitman of Clinton.
Funeral services will be conducted Sunday August 27, 2006 at 3:00 p.m. in the Springdale United Methodist Church in Clinton with interment in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the church.
