Vaughn “Chuck” Sanford, age 68, of 3983 Milam Road, passed away Saturday, September 6, 2014 at his home.
He was born in Clinton, SC and was a son of the late Victor and Lois Whitlock Sanford.
Chuck was a retired employee of SC Department of Transportation, Clinton Office. He was a US Army veteran of the Vietnam War; a Mason in the Joanna Lodge and a member of Eastside Baptist Church in Laurens.
He is survived by his daughters Michelle Landrith of Joanna and Amanda Sanford (fiance, Bobby Thomas) of Clinton; his grandchildren, Kourtney Kelley, Brooke Kelley, Tyler Trevino, Reilly Trevino, Heather Crocker and Erin Trevino. He was the last surviving member of his sisters and brother.
The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 9th at 2 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery in Newberry, SC.
The family will be at the home, 3983 Milam Rd., Clinton, SC.
