Vennie A. King, age 83, of 123 O’Dell St. and widow of Frank King died Sunday, July 16, 2006 in the Lexington Medical Center.
She was born in Whitmire and was the daughter of the late B.F. and Emma Adams.
Mrs. King was a life long resident of Whitmire and was a member of the Whitmire United Methodist Church.
She is survived by two daughters, Frances McCullough of Newberry and Ann Oswald of Whitmire; five grandchildren, Maria, Dana, and Adam McCullough and Britt and Zac Oswald.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday at 4:00 p.m. in the Whitmire United Methodist Church with interment in the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m. at the church.
