Vera Wilson Blackwell, age 95, a 60 year resident of 103 Bailey Cr in Clinton passed away Saturday, April 02, 2016 at NHC of Clinton.
She was born in Spartanburg, SC she is widow of Edmund Walter Blackwell and was a daughter of the late Grover Cleveland Wilson and Alpha Omega Wilson.
She is survived by her daughter Rachel Jennings (Don) of Clinton; her three sisters, Barbara Martin of Jacksonville, FL, Gerry Johnson of Silverstreet, SC, and Dot Medlin (Joe) of Clinton; seven grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and parents she is predeceased by her son, Edmund Ruben Blackwell, her daughter, Linda Blackwell; and two grandchildren, Donald Jennings, Jr. and Steven Walter Blackwell.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 3, 2016 at 3 PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service, from 2 to 3 PM at Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
