Vera Bramlett Johnson

Vera B. Johnson, “Granny” age 88 of 141 Tillman Circle, died Friday, October 2nd at her home.
She was born in Ware Shoals, SC and was a daughter of the late George and Alice Harvey Bramlett.
Surviving are two sons, Van “JR” Johnson of Spartanburg, Ricky Earl Johnson of Joanna, five daughters, Janette Overstreet of Joanna, Alice Virginia Hamby of Gaffney, Linda Faye Roberts of Laurens, Norma Jean Bowling of Clinton, Rhonda Sue Garcia of Enoree; one sister, Florine Edgeing of Newberry; twenty six grandchildren and twenty one great grandchildren and six great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by two husbands, George Marvin Beeks and
Van Johnson; sons, George E. Beeks, William R. Beeks, and Ronnie Ray Johnson; a daughter Cornelia B. Sutherland.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Oct. 5th at 2:00 p.m. in the Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church by Rev. Tony Irby with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Sunday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
