Vera Elizabeth Powell Littleton

Vera Elizabeth Powell Littleton, age 85 of 164 Old Newberry Hwy. and widow of W. B. Littleton, died Wednesday, December 3, 2008 in the Hillcrest Hospital in Simpsonville.
She was born in Easley and was a daughter of the late Richard Carl and Flora Holden Powell.
Mrs. Littleton was a former employee of the U.S. Forest Service and was a member of the Friendship Baptist Church in Whitmire.
Surviving are two sons, Richard Kinard Littleton of Kinards and James H. Littleton of Whitmire; one daughter, Linda Faye Jenkins of Whitmire; one sister, Zelda Wethington of Pauline; eleven grandchildren; sixteen great grandchildren and many special friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Dec. 6th at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the home of the daughter, Linda Faye Jenkins, 153 Old Newberry Hwy., Whitmire, SC.
