Vernetta Lusk Simmons

Vernetta Lusk Simmons, age 66 of 105 Pinewood Ave. and widow of James H. Simmons died Friday, Oct. 7, 2011 at the Hospice of Laurens County.
She was born in Laurens County and was a daughter of the late Cleo and Dollie Williamson Lusk.
Mrs. Simmons was retired from Torrington Bearing Company and attended the Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church.
Surviving are her son, Jamie Simmons and wife, Kim of Clinton, a daughter, Rhonda Boyce and husband, Ronny of Clinton; three sisters, Nancy Beckham of Ninety Six, Julia L. Dominick and Margie Bagwell both of Hickory Tavern; four grandchildren, Kristi and Heidi Boyce and Josh and Jeremy Simmons and three great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by a brother, Carl Lusk.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, Oct. 10th at 2:00 p.m. in the Lydia Pentecostal Holiness Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will be at the home, 105 Pinewood Ave., Clinton, SC.
