Viola Carson Deitz

Viola Leoma Carson Deitz, age 98, of 1288 Torrington Road, and widow of Fred Deitz, died Sunday, December 15, 2013 in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Cottageville, SC and was a daughter of the late James David and Annie Coustine Metts Carson.
Mrs. Deitz was a retired employee of Lydia Mills and a member of Bellview Baptist Church.
She is survived by three sons, Willis Deitz of Clinton, Wayne Deitz of Kinards, and Marvin Deitz of Greenville; fourteen grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and a number of great-great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her sons James Dietz, William Frank Deitz, and Leon Deitz.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, December 17th at 3:00 p.m. at Bellview Baptist Church with burial in Rosemont Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1 to 3 p.m. at the church.
The family will be at their respective homes.
