Virgil "Buck" Mcswain Morgan

Virgil “Buck” McSwain Morgan, age 79, widower of Betty Sue Morgan passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023.
He was born September 30, 1943 in Joanna, SC and was a son of the late Roosevelt Morgan and the late Claudine Wehunt Morgan. He was a veteran of the US Army having served in Vietnam, he worked in textiles, and was retired from American Security as Head of Security. He was also an avid fisherman.
Mr. Morgan is survived by his daughters, Beverly Morgan of Laurens and Tori Anderson of Clinton; his brother, Bill Morgan (Melba) of Saluda; his grandchildren, Courtney Pulley of Laurens, Jason Morgan of Joanna, and Austin Powell of Georgia; and his great-grandchild, McKinleigh Fields; and longtime buddy, Johnny Whitman.
In addition to his wife and his parents he precede in death by his son, Gregory “Greg” Morgan; his brothers, Jack Morgan and Tommy Morgan; his sisters, Pauline Prince and Peggy Corley; and his granddaughter, Lauren Keeli Copeland.
Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 20, 2023 at 4 PM the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with Military Honors. The family will receive friends Sunday, March 19, 2023 from 7 PM to 9 PM at the funeral home.
