Virginia Overstreet Crisp

Virginia Overstreet Crisp, age 73, widow of James Crisp, Sr., passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2017 at the Mary Black Hospital.
She was born in Whitmire and was a daughter of the late Clyde Francis and Maude Geneva Sinclair Overstreet.
Mrs. Crisp is survived by her son, James W. Crisp, Jr. (Lori) of Due West, SC; her four daughters, Rebecca Ongemach (Scott) of Spartanburg, Helen Renee Merritt (Pete) of Clinton; Kimberly Carter (Kevin) of Green Cove Springs, FL, Charlotte Christina Brown Bourassa (Roger) of Clinton; her brother, Grady Lee Overstreet of California; her two sisters, Helen Davenport of Greenwood, SC, Barbara Brotherton of Boiling Springs, SC; her sixteen grandchildren and her six great-grandchildren.
In addition to her husband and her parents she is predeceased by her brothers, Clyde Francis Overstreet, Ruben Frank Overstreet, and James Leon Overstreet.
Funeral services will be held, Sunday, November 19, 2017 at 4 PM at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Whitmire. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from 2 to 4 PM. Burial will take place at the Whitmire Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Whitmire Fire and Rescue Squad.
