Virginia Chandler Hazel, age 79, of 73 Gastley Drive died Tuesday, June 30, 2009 at the Hospice of Laurens County Hospice House.
She was born in Newberry and was a daughter of the late Charlie and Zula Norris Chandler.
Mrs. Hazel was a retired employee of Torrington Bearing Company.
Surviving are a son, Tommy Hazel of Lawrenceburg, Indiana; two daughters, Dorothy Bigham of Mauldin and Cheri Seawright of Laurens; one sister, Brenda Smith and husband, Frank of Joanna; seven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, July 3rd at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
The family will be at the residence, 73 Gastley Dr., Clinton, SC.
