Virginia Chaney Bishop

Virginia Chaney Bishop age 81, widow of Leonard Bishop, of 203 Derby Lane died
Wednesday, April 15, 2009 in the Self Regional Medical Center.
She was born in Laurens and was a daughter of the late Ernest Daniel and Lizzie
Etta Sanders Chaney.
Mrs. Bishop retired from the City of Clinton and was a member of the First
Baptist Church of Clinton.
She is survived by two sons, Danny Bishop and wife, Judi of Clinton, and David Bishop and wife, Ann of Clinton; a daughter, Elizabeth Pierce and husband, Dale of Niceville, FL; a special friend, Mary Jo Pierce of Kinards; five grandchildren; and three great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be conducted on Saturday, April 18th at 2:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Clinton.
The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
The family will be at the home of her son, Danny Bishop, 512 West Walnut Street, Clinton, SC.
