Virginia Holmes Lamb

Virginia Holmes Lamb, age 80, formerly of Hwy. 221 died Thursday, April 20, 2006, in the Briarwood Living Center in Simpsonville.
She was born in Enoree and daughter of the late Claude F. and Jeanette Stoner Holmes.
Mrs. Lamb was a registered nurse and had retired after many years in private duty nursing. She was also of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by two sons, Rhett Lamb of Mauldin and Mike Lamb of Greenville; a daughter, Melita Wilson of Greenville; a brother, Tommy Holmes and wife, Sara of Miami, OK; a sister-in-law, Shirley Holmes of Laurens; a great aunt, Lydabell Hennett; grandchildren, Wendy Wilson, Laura Reese and husband, Ronald, Chelsey Lamb and Ethan Lamb; great-grandchildren, Tyler Reese and Yazmin Wilson.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, April 22nd at 11:00 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the First Baptist Church Cemetery in Lanford.
The family will receive friends Friday from 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
