Virginia Mode Burns

Virginia Mode Burns age 69, of 2502 Mountville Road, went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 4, 2012. Mrs. Burns was the wife of the late Claude Hughes Burns.
She was born in Rock Hill and was the daughter of the late Summie Albert and Reba Henson Mode of Joanna.
Mrs. Burns retired from Laurens County Disabilites and Special Needs. She was a member of the Mountville Baptist Church.
Mrs. Burns is survived by her son, Christopher Hughes Burns and wife, Jamie Lynn of Fountain Inn; a granddaughter, Jessica Leann Beard of Fountain Inn; a brother, Paul Robert Mode and wife, Pat of Joanna; a sister-in-law, Myra Burns Young of Mountville; and a brother-in-law, Milton Herbert Burns and wife, Sara of Mountville.
She was predeceased by a sister-in-law, Betty Burns Coleman of Mountville.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, July 8th at 3:00 p.m.
in the Mountville Baptist Church with burial in the Mountville Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 7 to 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
