Virginia N. Puckett

Virginia N. Puckett, age 89, a resident of National Healthcare of Clinton and formerly of 501 Whitmire Hwy died Wednesday, Mar. 14th at the Laurens County Hospital.
Mrs. Puckett was born in Kentucky, and was the widow of Henry “Jud” Puckett. She was a Foster Grandparent volunteer with Senior Options at several area schools. Mrs. Puckett also was a member of the Believers Assembly Church.
Surviving are her son, Roger Puckett and Letti of Pauline; a daughter, Martha Wicker and Johnny of Joanna; two grandchildren, David Wicker and Kimberly and Melissa Rumfelt and Reid; three great grandchildren, Mikayla Rumfelt, Mikenzie Rumfelt and Justin Dale Wicker.
She was predeceased by a daughter, Geraldine Busby.
Funeral services will be conducted Saturday, Mar. 17th at 2:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
