Vivian Waits Nabors

Vivian Waits Nabors, age 89, formerly of 512 Blalock Dr. and widow of R. Bernard Nabors, died Sunday, Dec. 18th in the Laurens County Hospital.
She was born in Greenwood and was a daughter of the late W. K. and Jessie Waits. She was retired from Greenwood Mills, Joanna Plant and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Joanna.
She was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Surviving are nieces, Linda Waits Crowe of Anderson, Betty Gardner of Spartanburg and Ruby Waits of Joanna; several Great- Nieces and Nephews.
She was predeceased by three brothers, Walter, Milton and Kelly Waits.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, Dec. 21st at 3:00 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Joanna with burial in Forest Lawn East Cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 3 p.m. at the First Baptist Church on Wednesday.
Memorials may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
