Von Preston Fulmer

Von Preston Fulmer age 83, widower of Nellie Edwards Fulmer, of 4991 Hwy. 49 died Friday, January 15, 2010.
He was born in Newberry County and was a son of the late Chester Garfield Fulmer, Sr. and the late Victoria Metts Fulmer.
Mr. Fulmer was retired from Whitten Center and was a member of Sandy Springs United Methodist Church.
He is survived by two daughters, Cathy Williams (Larry) of Laurens, and Patsy Mabry of Laurens; three sisters, Raye Johnson of Laurens, Shirley Smith of Rock Hill, and Ruth Nelson of Laurens; seven grandchildren; and eleven great grandchildren.
He was predeceased by three children, Joyce Ann Fulmer, Curtis Fulmer and Nancy Brown; five brothers, John Henry Fulmer, William Fulmer, Garfield Fulmer, James Fulmer and Robert Fulmer; two sisters, Narvis Godfrey and Dorothy Knight.
Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday January 17th at 2:00 p.m. at Sandy Springs United Methodist Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening at the Gray Funeral Home in Laurens.

The family will be at the home of his daughter, Cathy Williams at 8347 Hwy. 308 in Laurens.
