Wallace Michael "Mike" Crumpton Sr.

Wallace Michael "Mike" Crumpton, Sr., 70, of Whitmire, SC, husband of Kathy Franklin Crumpton, passed away, Monday, June 12, 2023, at his home.
He was born March 27, 1953 in Newberry, SC, and was a son of the late Thomas Chris and Betsy Attaway Crumpton. Mike retired from the SC National Guard after 28 years of service. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to his wife, are his sons, Michael Shane Crumpton, and Wallace Michael Crumpton, Jr.; his daughters, Angel Dawn Penny, Tasha Ann Keith, Shayla Marie Crumpton, and Chasity Michelle Tran; fifteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, Mike was preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Crumpton; and two grandchildren, Christian and Riley Keith.
Funeral Services will be conducted 2:00 PM, Thursday, June 15, 2023 at Friendship Baptist Church with Rev. Paul Rowe officiating. Burial with full Military Honors will follow at the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends prior to the service from 1:00-2:00 PM at the church.
