Walter Mayher Boyden, Jr. age 92 of 105 Elm St. passed away Monday, June 5, 2017 at Martha Franks Baptist Retirement Center.
He was born in Plymouth, MA and was a son of the late Walter M. Boyden, Sr. and the late Mary Browne Boyden.
Mr. Boyden began his working career with American and PanAm Airlines but retired from the printing industry after 40 years of service. He was a US Navy Veteran and member of the American Legion. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and the Vestry.
Surviving are his wife, Billie Bishop Boyden of the home; a daughter, Deborah B. Tumblin of Clinton; two nephews, Robert Ferguson III (Nancy) of Massachusetts, Thomas E. Nickles (Beth) of Atlanta, GA; two nieces, Jesseca Ferguson (Mark) of Boston, MA, Catherine Locatis (Gordon) of Charleston, SC; three granddaughters, Rebecca Tumblin, Heather Keadle (Gene), Nancy Tumblin and two great grandchildren, Jacob and Gavin Keadle, along with several great nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be conducted Friday, June 23rd at 11:00 A.M. at the All Saints Episcopal Church in Clinton, SC. The family will receive friends following the service.
