Walter William "Bill" Rowland

Walter William “Bill” Rowland, age 70, of 300 Finney Dr., passed away on Monday, July 29, 2013 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Dunn, North Carolina and was the son of the late Jasper and Frances Draughon Rowland.
Mr. Rowland retired from Torrington Bearings Company after 47 years and was a veteran of the SC National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth (Libby) Nabors Rowland; his son, Steven Rowland his wife, Kelly and their children, Megan Rowland and Chris Cunningham of Laurens; his daughter, Dr. Kristin Derrick and husband, Gary and their daughter, Addy of Little Mountain.
Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 30th at 2 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends following the service.
