Walter Raleigh Roten age 85 of the Laurens Memorial Home died Sunday, Sept. 28, 2008 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He is survived by a son, Walter Roten of Laurens; two daughters, Ruby Jean McBride of Simpsonville, and Mary Elizabeth Mickleboro of Roswell, GA; two sisters, Ruth Calhoun of West Jefferson, NC, and Jewel Roten of Todd, NC.
Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday October 2nd at 1:00 p.m. at Mt. Paddy Church in Jefferson, NC with interment in the Kemp-Lewis Cemetery in Buffalo, NC.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Gray Funeral Home in Clinton, SC.
