Walter R. Cable, age 90, of 801 Musgrove St., died Sunday, May 28th in the Presbyterian Home.
He was born in Torrington, CT and was a son of the late Henry and Cora Beach Cable.
He was a former employee of American Brass Co. and retired from Torrington Bearings Co. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church; Master of the Grange, member of the Navy League of FL and Sertoma of FL and State Auxiliary of Connecticut State Troopers for over 20 years.
Surviving are two sons, Rodney Cable of Deltona, FL and Robert Cable of Jacksonville, FL; two daughters, Catherine Richard of Laurens and Patricia Thompson of Bristol, CT; one brother, Chauncey Cable of Orleans, MA; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
A Memorial service will be conducted Tuesday, June 6th in the Presbyterian Home Chapel at 11:00 a.m. by Dr. Marc Coker.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Presbyterian Home, 801 Musgrove St., Clinton, SC 29325.
