Wilford Earl Puckett

Wilford Earl Puckett, age 87 of 709 Milton Rd. died Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
Mr. Puckett was retired from Greenwood Mills, Blalock Plant and had worked as a security officer at Asten Johnson and also with Laurens County. He was a U.S. Army veteran and member of the Joanna Church of God.
Mr. Puckett was predeceased by his wife of 60 years, Allie Mae Bledsoe Puckett and a great grandson, Steven Earl Puckett.
Surviving are his children; Pete Puckett of Newberry, Betty Coburn and husband, Bill of Cross Hill, Bennie Puckett of Clayton, GA; grandchildren, Beverly Latham of North Augusta, Steve Puckett and wife, Stephanie of Clinton, Shane Puckett of Joanna, LeAnne McConnell of Demorest, GA; great grandchildren, Zane Latham of Greenwich, CT, John Thomas Puckett of Clinton, Shanna Puckett of Clinton, Fisher Puckett of Joanna, Ailee Puckett of Joanna, Nathan McConnell of Demorest, GA, Nicholas McConnell of Demorest, GA, Emma Puckett of Clinton and Jax Tanner of Demorest, GA; also special-in-laws raised in the home, Curt Bledsoe and wife, Pearl, Pauline Seymore and husband, Hawk and Bill Bledsoe, who is deceased.
Graveside services will be conducted Tuesday, Jan. 31st at 3:00 p.m. at Pinelawn Memory Gardens by Rev. Dan Compton.
The family will receive friends following the graveside service at the home at 709 Milton Rd., Joanna, SC.
