William Alvin Bedenbaugh
William Alvin Bedenbaugh, age 93, formerly of Joanna, SC passed away at the home of his grandson, Joey Morgan, on Saturday, February 2, 2013 in Pickens.
He was a widower of Lucille Russell Bedenbaugh and was the son of the late John Pressley and Florence Harmon Bedenbaugh.
Mr. Bedenbaugh was retired from the Greenwood Mills, was a member of the Epworth United Methodist Church in Joanna and was a WWII U.S. Army veteran.
He is survived by two daughters, Linda Croft of Simpsonville and Brenda Morgan of Dacusville; three brothers, Gurney Bedenbaugh of Piedmont, Coy Bedenbaugh of Lexington and Roy Bedenbaugh of N.C.; a sister, Kathleen Riley; 4 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 11:30 a.m. in the Newberry Memorial Gardens in Newberry, SC.
The family will receive friends immediately after the service. Memorials may be made to the Epworth United Methodist Church, 305 Magnolia Street, Joanna, SC 29351.
