William "Bill" Robert Andrews

William “Bill” Robert Andrews, age 95, widower of Ellen Elizabeth Aiken Andrews, passed away Monday, October 4, 2021 at the Newberry County Memorial Hospital.
He was born May 15, 1926 in Williamston, SC and was a son of the late Thomas McBride Andrews, Sr. and Nellie Stone Andrews.
Mr. Andrews is survived by his children, Robert “Bobby” Andrews of Cary, NC and Julie Andrews Murray of Whitmire, SC; his grandchildren, Mary Caitlyn Herndon (SSgt. Casey Ray), William Christopher Pinkus, Heather Elizabeth Andrews, William Allen Murray, Stuart McBride Murray, Robert Walter Andrews; his great-grandchildren, Brooklynn, Isaiah, and Olivia Herndon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is predeceased by his brother and four sisters.
Funeral Services will be held October 10, 2021 at 2 PM at the Whitmire United Methodist Church with burial to take place at Whitmire Cemetery, the family will greet friends following the Committal Service at the Whitmire United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall. The family will receive friends Saturday, October 9, 2021 from 6 to 8 PM at the Gray Funeral Home of Whitmire.
