William "Bill" Eugene Lanford

William “Bill” E. Lanford, age 86, of 219 Shands St, passed away at Self Regional Hospital on May 3, 2016.
He was born in Woodruff, SC and was the son of the late Floin and Rosa Green Lanford. He was retired from the military of both the Army and the Air Force, in addition to the military he was retired from Whitten Center as the Maintenance Supervisor, and was a member of the Davidson Street Baptist Church.
Mr. Lanford is survived by his wife, Ruby M. Lanford of the home; two sons, William Keith Lanford (Darlene) of Buffalo, NY; William Andrew Patterson (Norma) Clinton; four daughters, Beth Cassandra Lanford (Jim Cribley) of San Francisco, CA, Linda Fuller of Greer, Teresa P. Ferguson (Will) of Clinton, and Patti P. Renwick (Doug) of Simpsonville; ten grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
He is predeceased by a son, Jonathan “Jot” Lanford and a sister Betty Jewel Sumner.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 6 at the Davidson Street Baptist Church at 2 PM. The Family will receive friends at the church an hour before the service from 1 to 2 PM.
