William Tim "Bill" Coker, age 72, of 2443 Ekom Beach Road, passed away Tuesday, June 23, 2015 at his home.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of the late Ernest and Beatrice Nelson Coker.
Bill loved to play his guitar and was of the Baptist Faith.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie William Coker of the home; his daughters, Barbara Coker Towery, of the home, and Sandra Sue Coker Simmons of Greer; his step-children, Denise Taylor, Cindy Deshields, Angela Saeed and Lisa Cromer, all of Laurens; his brother, Earl Coker of Gray Court; his sisters, Mary Bayne and Sara N. Thompson, of Ware Shoals; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; and Betty Coker, the mother of his children.
He was predeceased by his wife, Brenda N. Coker, his brother, Ernest "Red" Coker and his sister, Dorothy Rose Collins.
A private family memorial service will be held at Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
