William Marion Crowder

William Marion Crowder age 85 of 6203 Mountville Rd. passed away Sunday, June 8th, 2014 at the Self Regional Medical Center in Greenwood.
He was born in Mountville and was a son of the late John Clayton and Myrtle Ward Crowder.
Mr. Crowder after 40 years of service retired from Greenwood Mills, Blalock Plant, he was a member and former Elder of Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church, a member of the Silverstreet Young Farmers and Farm Bureau.
Surviving are one son, William Larry Crowder and wife, Sheila of Greenwood; three daughters, B. Virginia (Ginny) Crowder, Mary Beth Cockrell and husband, Timothy J. and Julie Crowder Yochem and husband, Gary all of Mountville; grandchildren, Brian Dunaway, Carla Justice, Susan Sellars, Cynthia Owens, Richard Ginn, Heidi Long, Leann Amick, T.J. Cockrell, Claire Yochem and Clayton Yochem; nineteen great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
Mr. Crowder was predeceased by his wife, Barbara Dickey Crowder and two brothers, Talmadge and Ellis Crowder.
Funeral service will be conducted Wednesday, June 11th at 10:00 a.m. at Little River Dominick Presbyterian Church with burial in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
