William Franklin “Bones” Nelson, age 69 of 104 Locust Street, passed away Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Laurens County Hospice House.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late Frank Dofflin and Vera Lee Nelson and was a retired paint contractor.
Mr. Nelson is survived by his wife, Peggy Hughes of the home; a brother, Steve (Tonya) Nelson of Clinton; two nephews, Steven (Becky) Lindler of Cross Hill and David (BayBay) Nelson of Chappells; and a special friend, his dog J.D.
He was predeceased by a sister, Cynthia Nelson and a niece, Heaven Nelson.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, March 6th at 3:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will received friends before the service on Monday from 2:00 to 3:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
