William Milliard Ginn

December 23, 1926 — August 27, 2017

William Milliard Ginn, 90, of 410 Millwee Creek Road, and formerly of 176 Red Devil Road, Cross Hill, SC passed away Sunday, August 27, 2017 at the Rainey Hospice in Anderson, SC.
He was born in Georgia and was a son of the late Willie Lee and Lula Mae Goodwin Ginn.
Mr. Ginn retired from Cooper Motor Company with over fifty years of service, was an
U.S. Army Veteran of World War II and a member of Bethabara Baptist Church.
Mr. Ginn is survived by his wife, Jane D. Ginn of the home; two sons, Cecil Ginn of Clinton and Roger Ginn of Cross Hill; two daughters, Lacy Cannon of Clinton and Patricia Edwards of Gray Court; two step daughters, Debbie Durham of Pendleton and Rita Kelley of Clinton; a close friend, Terry Swaney of Pendleton; eight grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren; two step grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
He was predeceased by his first wife, Annie Ruth Ginn, a daughter, Kathy Woods, and two grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday, August 30, at 3PM at Holly Grove Baptist Church with interment at Rosemont Cemetery with Military Honors.
The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall before the service on Wednesday from 2 to 3PM.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainey Hospice, 1835 Rogers Road, Anderson, SC 29621.
