William Hugh Jones

William Hugh Jones, age 89, passed away Wednesday, December 30, 2020 at Langston Place in Clinton.
He was born in Mountville, SC and was a son of the late Hugh Thompson and L. Fay Bryson Jones. He was a graduate of Erskine College and was a veteran of the US Army. He was also retired from Whitten Center and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Laurens.
He is survived by his wife, Jane Jones, and his sister, Mary Ann Jones Pratt.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Jones was predeceased by his brother, John Edward Jones, and his sister, Elizabeth Jones Bobo.
Graveside Services will be held Thursday, January 7, 2021 at 11:00 AM at the Liberty Springs Presbyterian Church Cemetery in Cross Hill.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the First Presbyterian Church of Laurens, 400 West Main Street, Laurens, SC 29360, or to the charity of one’s choice.
