William Kenneth “Smitty” Smith, Jr., age 56, of 367 Edge Water Drive, passed away Tuesday, July 14th, 2015 at the McCall Hospice House in Simpsonville.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of William K. Smith, Sr., and the late Elizabeth Smith.
Mr. Smith worked for Carolina Concrete.
He is survived by his sons, William Kenneth Smith, III (Ashlee Young) of Clinton, and Dillon Smith (Rhonda Pace) of Waterloo; his daughters, Jennifer Hayes (Rodney Hayes) of Liberty, SC, Brittany Jay (Cliff) and Crystal Brown both of Greenwood; his sister, Jackie Smith of Waterloo; and nine grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 16th at the Gray Funeral Home Chapel of Laurens at 2 PM with burial at Rosemont Baptist Church Cemetery of Waterloo.
The family will receive friends before the service from 1 to 2 PM at the Funeral Home.
