William (Bill) Staley Hensley, Jr.

William (Bill) Staley Hensley, Jr. age 70, of 102 Yacht Dr. died Wednesday, November 5, 2008 at his home.
He was born in Knoxville, TN and was the son of the late William (Staley) Hensley, Sr. and Charlotte Basil Hensley.
Mr. Hensley was retired from the Foremost Insurance Co., officiated football for the O.V.C. and was a member of the National Guard.
He is survived by his wife, Vicki Lee Hensley of the home; four children, Laree Hensley of Charleston, SC, Jeana Hill of Knoxville, TN, William D. Hensley and daughter in law Sonya Hensley of Greenville, SC and Staley Bruni and son in law Ben Bruni of Bowling Green, KY; a sister, Jean Elizabeth Hensley of Plano, TX.; ten grandchildren, Billy Klaus, Daniel Hill, Matthew Hill, MaKayla Hensley, Sarah-Beth Hensley, Dillon Carlock, Will Hensley, Brady Carlock, Emery Bruni and Claire Hensley; one great grandchild, Madison Hill.
He was predeceased by a brother, Thomas Hensley of Knoxville, TN
The family will received friends Friday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens and will receive friends Saturday from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gentry-Griffey Funeral Home in Knoxville, TN.
A funeral service will be conducted Sunday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gentry- Griffey Funeral Chapel followed by the interment at the Lynnhurst Cemetery in Knoxville.
