William David Anderson

William David Anderson age 69 of 62 Dogwood Circle died Sunday, Oct. 28th, 2007 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Sandy Springs, SC and was a son of the late Homer W. and Lula Mable Chapman Anderson.
Mr. Anderson was a former employee of Shakespeare in Newberry and was retired from Westinghouse in Greenwood. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran of the Korean War serving on the USS Intrepid, and was a member of Elizabeth Street Church of God.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Madden Anderson of the home; a son, David R. Anderson of Laurens; three daughters, Rhonda Anderson Butler of Laurens, and Barbara Denise Anderson and Victoria Ann Anderson, both of Clinton; a brother, Fred Anderson of Waterloo; a sister, Nellie Vaughn of Iva; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, Nov. 1st at 3:00 p.m. at Elizabeth Street Church of God with burial to follow in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends before the service on Thursday from 1:30 – 3:00 p.m. at the church.
