William D. (Bill) Gregory

April 24, 1943 — October 16, 2011

William D. (Bill) Gregory, age 68, of 105 Regal Point died Sunday, October 16, 2011 at the Hospice House of Laurens County.
He was born in Laurens and was the son of the late Charles M. and Mildred Garrett Gregory.
Mr. Gregory was the owner of Gregory Service Company, was a mason and a member of the Lucas Ave. Baptist Church. He also served on the District 55 School Board and was a member of the National Guard.
He was a dedicated father and grandfather (Papa).
Surviving is a special friend, Sandra Dover of Laurens; two sons, Chad D. Gregory and his wife, Jennifer of Laurens and Brian L. Gregory and his wife, Amy of Laurens; grandchildren, Summer, Sloan, Brianna, Laura and Kinsleigh Gregory; two brothers, Bobby and Chuck Gregory.
Graveside services will be conducted Wednesday at 11:00 a.m. at the Forest Lawn Cemetery in Laurens.
The family will receive friends Tuesday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Gray Funeral Home of Laurens.
