William Harold Power

William Harold Power, age 87 of 701 Shands St. died Thursday, March 3, 2011 at his home.
He was born in Laurens, SC and was a son of the C. B. and Gussie Mae Owens Power.
Mr. Power was a former employee of Industrial Supply for 36 years and for the past 18 years has been employed with Greenwood Supply, he was a former Exchange Club member and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Clinton and a U.S. Navy veteran of WWII.
Surviving are his wife Betty Templeton Power of the home; two sons, Stanley Power and wife, Amy of Carlsbad, New Mexico and Tim Power and wife, Dianne of Charleston; a daughter, Mary Beth Shealy and husband, Brian of Clinton; two sisters, Dorothy Theo of Woodruff and Polly Simmons of Columbia; nine grandchildren; Jordan Power, Jeremy Power, Corey Power, T.J. (Michelle) Power, Neely (Michael) Shepheard, Austin Power, Mary Paige Shealy, Michael Shealy and Brooke Shealy and one great grandson, Landon Power.
He was predeceased by a brother, Jim Power and two sisters, Frances Drummond and Christine Oakley.
Funeral service will be conducted Sunday, Mar. 6th at 3:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Clinton with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends Saturday evening from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the Fellowship Hall of the First Baptist Church.
