William "Junior" Dunlap, Jr.

William “Junior” Dunlap, age 73,died on Wednesday, November 5, 2008 in the Spartanburg Hospital Restorative Care.
He was born in Joanna, SC and was the son of Romola Tinsley Dunlap of Joanna and the late William J. Dunlap, Sr. Mr. Dunlap retired from Torrington; was a member and deacon of the Joanna Assembly of God where he was active in the Royal Ranger’s and was a veteran of the US Air Force.
Surviving in addition to his Mother are his wife, Sarah Jones Dunlap of the home; two children, Billy Dunlap and Tammy D. Burdette both of Anderson; three step-children, Allison McCullough of Donalds, Curtis Wright of Clinton and Earl Wright of Virginia; three sisters, Judy Simmons of Joanna, Anna Margaret Simmons of Pickens and Candi Lawson of Charlotte, NC; seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 1:00 p.m. in the Joanna Assembly of God Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens.
The family will receive friends from 12 to 1 p.m. on Friday at the church.
