William “Junior” Thrift, age 79 of 202 Dixon St. died Friday, Jan. 1st, 2010 at the National HealthCare of Clinton.
He was born in Laurens County and was a son of the late William P. Thrift, Jr. and the late Juanita Marjorie Smith Thrift.
Mr. Thrift retired from Clinton Mills, Lydia Plant, served in the SC National Guard and was a member of the New Hope Baptist Church.
Surviving are one sister, Marjorie Silvers of Clinton and a niece, Gail McCall of Laurens.
Graveside services will be conducted Sunday, Jan. 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the Pinelawn Memory Gardens by Rev. Sherrill Green.
The family will greet friends after the graveside service.
