William Keith Johnson, Sr.

William Keith Johnson, Sr., age 74, of 539 Sparrow Rd. died Sunday, February 19, 2012 in the Laurens County Hospital.
He was born in Newberry and was the son of the late Clarence L. and Maggie Banks Johnson.
Mr. Johnson was retired from the Torrington Bearings Co., was a member of the Community Baptist Church and was an avid sports fan.
He is survived by his wife, Juanita Hamrick Johnson of the home; three daughters, Joni Johnson Brewer and husband, Vince of Clinton, Keely Johnson Wilson and husband, Joey of Enoree and Erin Johnson Baisden and husband, Mike of Clinton; a son, Keith Johnson, Jr. and wife, Jennifer of Clinton; three brothers, Jimmy Johnson of Kinards, Bobby Johnson and wife, Bonnie of Woodruff and Billy Ray Waddell and wife, Dianne of Maysville, NC; a sister, Bootsie Harvey and husband, Lewis of Welford; 10 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Betty Johnson of Trenton, SC.
He was predeceased by four brothers, Calvin L. Johnson, Dearl Johnson, Ernest L. Johnson and Jerry Johnson.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday at 2:00 p.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment in the Rosemont Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
