Willie Jones McMurtury, age 75, of 1802 Old Newberry Highway, passed away Tuesday, March 29, 2016 at her home.
She was a daughter of the late Almond and Mary Bunt Jones.
Mrs. McMurtury was a member of the Gods Healing Spring Church of Whitmire.
She is survived by her sons, Alvin McMurtury, Jr. (Terri) and Mark McMurtury (Barbara); her daughter, Donna McMurtury Norton (Billy Ray); seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren; and many siblings.
She was predeceased by her husband, A. Lawrence McMurtury, Sr.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, April 1st at 3 PM at the Gods Healing Springs Church of Whitmire.
The family will receive friends on Thursday evening from 6 to 8 PM at the Gods Healing Springs Church.
