Willie C. (Bud) Holsonback

Willie C. Holsonback (Bud), age 76, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 while attending First Baptist Church of Joanna.
He was born in Newberry, SC and was a son of the late Willie and Elise Holsonback.
Mr. Holsonback retired after 45 years from Greenwood Mills, where he worked at Joanna, Sloan and Durst Plants. He was an active member of Joanna First Baptist Church, where he was church treasurer for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mary Jo Holsonback; two sons, Billy Holsonback and his wife, Michelle, and Tommy Holsonback, and his wife, Lori; one daughter, Cindy Jacobs and husband, Jimmy, all of Clinton, SC; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Katherine McLeod and late husband, James McLeod, of Newberry, SC Margaret Timmerman and late husband, Raymond Timmerman, of Aiken, SC; and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Tuesday, March 26th at 3:00 p.m. at Joanna First Baptist Church with burial in Pinelawn Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends Tuesday before the service from 1:30 to 3:00 p.m. in the Mitchell Building of Joanna First Baptist Church.
